Main Street Cafe Tour: Sweet Revenge

"Living well is the best revenge" - George Herbert

Yes it is, and if you add some sweetness to that, it's undefeatable. Sweet Revenge on Main street Vancouver is one of those places that provides you sweetness and comfort helping you escape from all those stressful moments you had during day time. The opening time of the cafe is quite unusual; unlike most places, they open from 7 PM to 12 AM  during weekdays and 7 PM to 1 AM for Friday & Saturday.

The interior looks like an old hidden parlour from the 1900s. The space is small and the tables are close together - some groups even share the same table with a "menu stand" seperating each side. However, unlike how it looks, this place was unbelievably cozy to chat with friends.

The unique red wall. I am so sure that the red wall is one of the reasons that makes this place extra special. Pictures are hung  with imperfection (not perfection); they are tilted and not aligned. This too made me loosen up from my tense day making needle felting doll lol.

Tiramisu and London Fog served in a french press. Nat's Ryan says he favorites their London Fog and Crème brûlée - hence has to have it every time.

Soft and sweeeeet!

On this side of the table, we had Hawaiian Colada tea and a chocolate pudding cake served with vanilla ice cream. I imagined a chocolate pudding but it was rather like a fondant au chocolat and yes of course very sweeeeeeet!

So that was our little escape to Sweet Revenge Patisserie on Main street.  If you want to get away from reality a little bit and just want to meet friends and chat, this place is a great one (they serve alcoholic beverages including alcoholic coffees, wine, and many other choices too! ;-D)

Wishing you all a great day,
xoxo
