Earnest Ice Cream | Seriously Good

Viv and I have a new favorite ice cream shop in Vancouver. According to their website, this amazing scoop shop opened in 2012 but it was not only recently I was introduced to it via my colleague. They offer the classics like salted caramel but few delightful twists like strawberry balsamic or whisky hazelnut. Happy dance for our tongues everyone!

This place is SO popular, there were literally 50 people waiting from the counter all the way to & after 2 neighboring stores out on the street. There are people patiently waiting chattering excitement. Some of them are holding the empty mason jars, to return them and to buy new ready packed pints.

The interior design of the place is cozy with modern touch to it. It also has somewhat of rustic look, too. In short, I love it.  Last time I've gone back to this place was last Sunday. Despite my prediction that the crowd would have gone away since it is quite chilly now - we were waiting from outside of the door, again. We could not find any seats either this time, so we headed to wander around the nearby shops. Their website also mentions how they embrace local ingredients. Not to mention they're huge advocates of environments. They came up with an idea to reuse and return of ice cream pint packaging and offer customers who bring the jars back - how brilliant!

Hope you enjoy! :-)
