YSL Baby doll Kiss & Blush: 8, 10

Today I brought you a review of YSL Baby Doll Kiss & Blush Lips & Cheeks 08, Pink Hedoniste and 10 Nude Insolent. These colors were particularly popular in S. Korea because the heroine of the hit drama "It's okay It's love (괜찮아, 사랑이야)" wore the colors in the show.

I believe the South Korean Actress Hyo-Jin Gong is wearing 10 Nude Insolent in the above photo. 

The container of the product is glass with a golden tin lid. I don't suppose it'd be THAT fragile but it still isn't a product that is convenient to carry around in your make-up pouch because you don't want to break it!

However, because of the clear case, you can see the exact color of the product. And of course it's so pretty! 

08 Pink Hedoniste 

10 Nude Insolent

There is a round ball in the middle of the tip which helps you spread the product evenly on your lips/cheeks.  The pointy tip also makes it easier to apply along your lip line.

With flash: I would describe 08 is a coral pink and 10 a plummy color with a hint of brown.

I applied 08 as a base then applied 10 on inner lips and blended outwards.

The cream-like texture is easy to blend.

When I tested out the colors on my wrist they seemed quite moist. However the product has a matt/powdery finish so it might accentuate the creases of your lips and the dry skins. Be sure to have your lips moisturized and exfoliated before applying.

You can also apply this on your cheeks as a blush. The texture is very pleasing when you apply it!

In the picture above, I applied 08 on the cheeks and 10 on the lips. 

They are gorgeous and elegant fall colors.   

This picture is pretty close to the actual color.

Pros:

-What you see is what you get

-Super pigmented

-Convenient application wand

-Elegant powdery/matt finish

-Mouse-like texture helps blending

-Perfect color for fall

Cons:

-Matt finish might also accentuate imperfections of your lips(creases, dry patches, etc)

-Hard to carry around due to the glass container

-Expensive ...(CAD $45)
